Director-general speaks at international counterterrorism meeting The Hague

Director-general of the AIVD and current chair of the European Counterterrorism Goup (CTG) Rob Bertholee held a speech at a meeting of delegates of the Global Counterterrorism Forum (GCTF) and the anti-ISIS coalition on 11 January 2016. He emphasized the importance of international cooperation between security services.

Dutch foreign minister Koenders convened the meeting to step up measures against terrorism, not only punitive measures, but also prevention and de-radicalisation. This was the first joint meeting of these two coalitions.
