How can I disable the spell-check in Adobe?

To open the Spelling preferences, choose “Edit” in the toolbar menu on top of the screen .

• Then choose “Preferences”.
• Select “Spelling” on the left .
• Disable the “Check Spelling While Typing” by unchecking the box (so that the tick has disappeared), then click on OK.
