The Security Screening Unit (Unit Veiligheidsonderzoeken, UVO) charges a fee for the execution of a security screening. Each year the costs are recalculated and published in the Government Gazette
The UVO sends a bill to the applicant. The rates are based on the actual costs of a security screening. The AIVD is a government organisation and does not aim to make a profit.
